An Overview of the Audie Tarpley Construction Portfolio at DCG

During his time as the president and owner of the Dillon Construction Group (DCG) in Indianapolis, Audie Tarpley has worked closely with construction industry veteran and company founder Dale Dillon to provide a range of clients with high-quality, personalized construction consulting and project management services. By combining the customized service and flexibility of a small firm with the expert insight and resources of a national corporation, experienced construction manager Audie Tarpley has effectively guided a wide array of client-focused projects.

DCG has scheduled several major projects for 2026 and beyond, including Turtle Creek, an Indianapolis-based multi-family housing project. Throughout the year, DCG design and build professionals will add three more buildings to the Turtle Creek Apartment Complex. The complex consists of numerous two-bedroom floor plans with private patios and balconies, access to in-building laundry care centers, and many more amenities.

Turtle Creek is not the only multi-family property in the DCG portfolio. The 833 Main project in Carmel, Indiana, is a 48,000-square-foot mixed-use project consisting of 33 apartments and nearly 50 covered parking spaces. In addition, the construction team finished Shore Acre Apartments in 2024, a 64,612-square-foot project in Indianapolis’s Broad Ripple neighborhood. The multi-family housing project features 48 units.

Riverfront at Promenade Park in Fort Wayne represents one of the largest mixed-use properties that Audie Tarpley has managed during his time as the owner of DCG. Completed in the spring of 2023, Riverfront at Promenade Park consists of almost 230 apartment units with access to an attached 914-car parking garage. Other similar projects include the Railyard at Midtown (a 290,000-square-foot property in Carmel with 208 units and a 383-car parking garage) and the Quarry at River Crossing (a 257,000-square-foot property that includes 208 apartments and a 258-car parking garage).

Outside of the multi-use and multi-family space, DCG has completed projects for several prominent Indiana businesses. The design and build teams worked with Bowdie’s Chophouse on a 7,200-square-foot restaurant location in Zionsville. DCG provided the client with high-end finishes for the chain’s newest steakhouse in the region, completing work in 2025.

DCG has also worked on multiple corporate headquarters, including Merchants Bank’s first and second headquarters buildings. The five-story construction of the second headquarters building (a 111,000-square-foot office building in Carmel) in 2025 involved the completion of a pedestrian bridge connecting the building to the company’s original headquarters, which DCG built in 2018. Additional features range from a first-floor parking garage to a rooftop deck, along with multiple social lounges throughout the building and a fitness center.

Graham Rahal Brands’ headquarters in Zionsville is another significant build in the DCG portfolio. The 132,000-square-foot multi-use project consisted of two buildings, for which Audie Tarpley’s team earned an NAIOP People’s Choice Award in 2025. Lids Corporate headquarters, also in Zionsville, is even larger, at 151,000 square feet, and necessitated the construction of a professional kitchen, among other unique features.

DCG’s extensive portfolio consists of office space, mixed-use and multi-family properties, industrial developments, and much more. Regardless of the project, company owner and leader Audie Tarpley has maintained founder Dale Dillon’s philosophy of customer satisfaction and project quality. DCG does not pursue hard-bid projects. All projects begin at least 12 months before breaking ground, affording the construction team the time needed to deliver a manageable timeline that does not compromise the client’s vision or DCG’s commitment to quality and safety.
